Yep.........its pouring down here as well......we are advising tents not to bother coming today or tomorrow if they call us.

Hi,came back from our first vist to Barmouth on the 7th june, it had rained for almost our week there ground was ok at first but into our 3rd day ground became boggy.when stood in the awning area water soon bubbled over breathable ground sheet.After that we lifted breathable ground sheet and put tarpaulan sheet below breathable ground sheet no problems after that.

My mum was in her tent next to us and she didn't have any problems.

We have just been out and pegged down some grass reinforcement mesh especially where customers park their cars next to the pitch in the hope that this will prevent people ( and cars)  bogging in.  The forcast doesn't look good tho   Up to now we have been well draining but now the ground is that saturated it's starting to pond in places.

Can someone do a sundance PLEASE.

We're in mid-wales and it has been raining non-stop since 5am and now the garden (which normally drains really well) is completely saturated and is under about a half-inch of water. Sorry to add to your burdens but it will probably be the same throughout Wales this weekend.

Could you not ring around to see if you can obtain a hard-standing? Surely that's better than nothing?
