Relatively dry down this part of the country at the moment so no problems. I feel very sorry for the folk in Central England - it looks horrific.

Thank you!!. i agree it's awful, hopefully it will stay good for you down there which will also mean we will be able to get a holiday, really in need of our holiday right now, we are pretty lucky where we are we don't suffer from the flooding, although the weather is still getting to us! I do feel so sorry for all those that have been affected and there's me worrying about our holiday - at least I've still got my home, put's it into perspective really. Jusst want to make sure all is well with our destination cos we'll have a very long journey for nothing otherwise.

Yep, I think we are living in a micro-climate here... went to Exeter today, pouring, Haldon Hill, pouring, got to the top and... sunshine! Actually got 14 loads of washing ( I kid you not!) done, on the line and dry and put away in the last three days! Hoorah... Jackie X

We're going camping not far from there at Pennymoor camping park this weekend and so I have found that there is no flooding around that area so fingers x!

Was at the Deer Park meet in Stoke Fleming a few miles away last week and the weather on the whole was good, plenty of sunshine with some rain at night!
Jackie, didn't realise that you were in that part of Devon - you could have visited us at the meet!
------------- Come on if we leave now we can make it before it's dark. How many times have we heard that?
