Spent two weeks at Reedham and returned on 27.7.07. We really enjoyed it there and weather wasn't too bad at all. No flooding and and ground seemed to drain well if it did rain. We were pitched on rhs of duck pond - non electric area. Ducks were lovely but can be very loud early in the morning!!  Please take care if you have youngsters though - the pond is a real magnet for them - saw a young lad fall in while his parents were putting the tent up!

We had taken our canadian canoe but didn't use on River Yare as very strong tidal current.

Really had a lovely time - site would probably be too quiet for a lot of people but it suited us just fine - didn't want to come home!

Wise decision not to use the canoe as the river has strong tides and undercurrents at Reedham, quite a bit of this river is best left to powered boats unless you are really experienced as a rower/canoist, lovely spot though.

We have been very fortunate that Norfolk/Suffolk has seen very little of the flooding than many parts have seen and it is draining away very quickly when it does rain. I would think the ground is already quite dry as some farmers are having to water crops already
