 Hi we are new to the camping breaks / holidays.

We are looking to find sites in the northumberland area which contain a park of somesort for children.

Any info would be appreciated and whats the going rate to pitch a tent

The best thing to do is use the campsite search at the top of the page, either enter a specific town or just northumberland as the county, will give a you a choice.  As regards to the price, most sites have a website with a tariff, that will give you an idea.

We love Northumberland, but have never camped up there, we found the perfect farmhouse and always stay there when we visit.

we stayed at Waren Mill earlier this year, nice clean site, playground not extensive but nice field for playing in, in middle of tents etc.  Cant remember the pitch price but have a look here

Do a search for these site and read the reviews,and prices we have been already this year and intend going back within the next 6 weeks

Brown Rigg at billingham (Fantastic site very clean)

Ord House at Berwick (lovely site very relaxed)

Border Caravan park at Keilder (great but watch for the midges)

Enjoy you wont be dissapointed.
