Whencampsites say groups, how big a group are they thinking of? 

If you were to book a pitch for 6 people, is that seen differently to booking 3 pitches for 6 people (2 in each tent)..   We will be 3 couples going away in 3 tents, and I would like to understand how campsites will view us and whether this will be an issue.  We aren't a rowdy lot by any means, but I understand that the campsites don't know that until after we have gone.

Hi Mike,

A friend of mine had this trouble herself.  They ended up having to all book and pay seperatly but had to request to be as near as possible to each other.  Sometimes its not a problem with three sets of couples, its normally more of a problem if it was all female or all male in one group, thats when things tend to get more rowdy.
