Im looking for a small uncommercial site for touring tents on the north norfolk coast. Somewhere between Brancaster and Cley next the sea. No more than about 10 miles in land. Ive used the search facility on this site and come up with nothing. Any recommendations?
Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
There's a lovely little campsite just outside Wells-next-the-Sea called "Mill Farm"... I haven't been there for quite a while, but it used to be a quiet, peaceful place in a lovely area of Norfolk...
If you're interested and you 'Google' it, I'm sure you'll find the details you need. It's about a ten minute walk from the quayside at Wells. It isn't listed on the U.K.C.S. website, but maybe next time I visit I'll do a review and then the secret will be out. But in the meantime, keep it to yourself!...

Just to say that we stayed at Burnham Deepdale last week and it was 'OK'. But this is camping on a high density scale. You are cheek by jowl and rammed into one of three fields.
The staff are helpful but - to be frank - it's all a bit small with a lot of tents and only two urinals and three showers.
For the money it is poor. For the location you don't have many other choices and the clientle are all rather well-to-do meaning that you do have to suffer some wine-fuelled late night chattering classes.
I wouldn't recommend the site unless you need to go to this area. You can't walk anywhere so the car is constantly in use - as you find out when the kids need to keep being hauled back as yet another car sets off on a trip.
