Just got back from Lands End and the Seaview site.    A beautiful site - can't fault the facilities - but just about the rudest, most argumentative, unpleasant campsite manager/owner/whatever I have ever come across!  Allegedly her reputation extends beyond the campsite into the village!

eg (my experience and others I spoke to), told to finish drink and go because it was quiet and she decided to shut the bar early; shut the bar and refused to give money back to kids who had just put their money into a pool table; got right into the face of a camper who complained that the menu was not accurate; refused to accept that the electricity supply could be faulty and claimed it must have been because a camper was using a Playstation! There were many other incidents - too numerous to tell here.

A real shame, because it's a lovely setting and I would have love to go back,  but I don't think I could face it again. The worst customer service I have ever experienced.  Anyone else come across this one??

I visited a friend there last week who was staying in a caravan.

And she found exactly the same thing.

They were rude and unhelpful etc... The site was understaffed, they had to close shop because not enough staff to do the bar!

She is writing a letter of complaint.

You didn't get blown away then??? It was really windy when we were down there.
