We tried for 3 hours last night to book somewhere, but everywhere is full.  Anyone got any ideas???   Kids are totally gutted!!

Go to the Open Sports Nationals drag races at Shakespeare County Raceway near Stratford on avon and look for a Khyam XXL with a gold PT Cruiser parked next to it.. you can plug into my gennie for half the cost of the fuel mate !

We are not away this Bank Holiday, due hubby being on call with work, but are going away next weekend.

Personally, I like to be quite organised with my bookings, so if we had been going away this weekend, I would have probably booked something months ago.

But I can understand that the beauty of camping/caravanning is the get up and go element, so it can be frustrating to have to spend hours trying to find somewhere for the weekend.

Yes we got stuck a couple of years ago, booked for this weekend in March.If you can its always better to plan ahead, but the way the weathers been its hard work

Why do you need EHU just for a weekend? - there are probably lots of spaces on nice campsites without EHU and at least your kids will get their holiday.
