As I've said elsewhere on this forum I had a wonderful time this weekend just gone. The only thing that came near to spoiling it were my neighbours at the rear of my pitch. Mum and dad insisted on walking across our pitch because it was the shortest route to the shower block, water, bins, in fact I think it was the shortest route to everywhere even if they had to go in the opposite direction.
Imagine the scene, sitting outside with friends enjoying our evening meal in the sunshine when the bloke at the back walks between us and the awning. Some might think 'What's the problem' but others will know how we felt. There was not an excuse me or anything.
To provide some privacy we put some windbreaks up at the back of the pitch to act as a fence. They pushed them over and carried on as if they weren't meant to be there.
We couldn't believe it. In fact if it wasn't so increadible I might have got really annoyed. I must however point out that the kids were as good as gold.
ooh, that would have made my blood boil. I would have put the windbreak back up with a notice attached saying"public footpath this way" with an arrow pointing in the path direction. If that isn't a big enough hint then they deserve it if you have "words" with them about your privacy.
