Can anyone reccomend a good campsite preferably in Devon if not Cornwall that is on or near the beach that is open for New Year and has entertainment.?

I was just about to put the same question on but I need a site that would be no further than a 3hr drive of Manchester.

Really fancy spending new year somewhere other than home this year.

Hope we get some replies!

i think Rivendale in the peak district (near ashbourne) does something on new years eve, im sure it will probably tell you on their website.

i know the sites open in cornwall for new year's eve get  booked up really early so you may not get booked in anywhere now, worth a look tho.

Thanks for that.  rivendale was booked up and thorntons Holt a little too far as hubbie has to return on one of the evenings to work.

Finally booked on at trottingmare, looking forward to it.
