Has anyone stayed at Bowdens Crest this year?

All the reviews are 2006 or earlier.  I know they've had a new toilet block but I was also wondering about the size of the pitches.

I've stayed at a few sites with great pitch sizes but went to one recently where the pitches were very small and it spoilt it for me a bit. 

We stayed there before the new toilets were built and the pitches were a good size.  They weren't very busy when we were there though.

Pitches weren't marked out as such but we had plenty of space between us and the next caravan.

I think the owners are members on here so maybe they will also answer you soon, if not drop them an email, they seem friendly and approachable.

Yeah, Ang is lovely. 

We have stayed there, lots of recent improvements, the loos and showers since we have been there.  IMHO the touring field is a bit rough, not very level and very muddy in wet conditions.  The views are lovely and the access road very narrow.  if you meet someone coming down, you have to reverse back down the hill again.

Hi all, Yes things have gone a bit quieter at the moment now the children have mostly gone back to school. As you all rightly say we have made many improvement to the site including extra hard standings.  Our biggest one being the New Toilet/shower block.

Unlike most of the Country we have not had masses of rain this year, and would advise everyone to bring rock pegs as the ground is quite hard at the moment.

sorry shaz we also say no to gazebos as they have a habit of taking off in the wind either whilst you are asleep or when you are out!

Below is a diagram of your tent.  It looks as though the footprint is approx 16ft by 21ft plus the space used by guyropes.
