Does anyone know of a cheap children friendly campsite in Jersey.

I'm thinking of going next year. what ferry companies go there?

There are only about 4-5 campsites on jersey and its hideously expensive to get there! Once there though the beaches are superb,we used to go to Beauveland?? near St Martins and the zoo,great campsite,level pitches,small bar/restaurant,pool,quiet at night,etc,we now have a 24 foot van which is too big for the sea cat ferry so would have to go on the slow ferry(9hrs).Condor ferries go from Poole and Weymouth

Jersey is just fab - and the flights to get there pretty cheap. Recently checked out the ferry prices trying to get to a family wedding over there on the cheap but just ridiculous compared with the flights.Thats without the car too!

Its a real shame about the hideous costs to get there. We looked last year and soon gave up on he idea.

hi we  went to rozel camping park in july.it is quiet expensive to get to jersey i think it cost us about 800 pounds that was for seacat from weymouth to jersey .overnight ferry from jersey to portsmouth .cabin and all site fees .for car and folding camper .but it is well worth it when you are there.we all want to go back next year.
