Hi,

We are looking at going to North Wales with our caravan next year.  We have two children who will be 13 and 15.  We also have another couple going with us who have a young baby who will by then be 18 months.  Ideally we would like a site near to the beach, onsite swimming pool, pub/restaurant, childrens play area. 

We have looked at the Haven site in Prestatyn but it works out at almost £350 for the week.  A lot when we have only just paid £1100 for two weeks in Turkey!!

Can anyone recomment any sites.

This one seems very popular, we`ve never been but I know it`s in lovely area with a fab beach,

You could go to Greenacres in Porthmadog or there's one in Llanbedrog / Abersoch or somewhere on Anglesey?

Karen Wow, £1100 in Turkey, where did you get a deal like that?

I stayed in a static at Haven in Prestatyn about 5 years ago, it was very noisy and security were called often in the early hours. There used to be a Butlins (could be Haven now) in Pwllelhi which was very nice.

£350 for a week for 6+ people seems perfectly reasonable compared to the £1100 for 4 for a fortnight in Turkey... or have I misread / misunderstood?
