Bit of a long shot... I'm leaving my tent at home and heading to Snowdonia in October with my Dog for a bit of walking and R&R...

Unfortunately as I run my own business I can't completely switch off and therefore wondered whether anyone knew of any statics or even cottages with wifi or dial up internet access?

Not too fussed where abouts in Snowdonia, northern part would be great, but really anywhere that will let me bring Bella (slightly hyperactive JRT) and allow me to pick up emails would be just great..

Know it's a little off subject (Webby please feel free to move if inappropriate) but I'd be really grateful of any suggestions.

Thanks all!

Hi
Googled your requirements and found this

Cottage

Its got internet access.

Might be a bit big for just you but it was the first one I found.

Have fun in Snowdonia!

Thanks Sprocket,

Had a look at that- there seems to be about 5 cottages in Snowdonia with Wifi, but they are all for 7+ people, and the prices reflect this...  Just looking for a bolt hole in access of good walks for me and dog- maybe I should be looking into 3G Cards etc.

Thanks for trying for me though,

x Nomes

How about using a local library or internet cafe for your internet needs leaving you able to choose from more cottages?  Just a thought.

I've got a 3G card, very handy it is too, just don't expect 3G coverage in Wales. I've always managed to get a GPRS connection wherever I've camped in Wales, and at 56k its a bit slow (reminds me of pre-broadband days) but you can surf the web and check emails as long as you're not downloading megabytes worth of stuff.

3G it is then!  I'm in Denbighshire myself so not expecting lightning speeds don't worry!
