Hello,
I'm new to this section, so if I'm going over old ground please bear with me.
We're looking to take our folding camper and two dogs away to the Lleyn (or Leyn) Peninsula the week after next. We'd like to find a quiet site - water and disposal points only required - with good sea views - OH says she needs to hear the sea lulling her to sleep!
We're Camping and Caravan Club members, but would appreciate the views of UKS members as we've no experience of this area.
Thanks.

We camped at Abererch Sands at the end of July. The site was clean, with direct beach access. You can hear the sea all the time. There were plenty of dogs on site, so they would not be a problem.
It does have a small swimming pool on site. The weather wasn't too great when we were there, but the kids spent most of the time, when it wasn't raining, playing in the playarea.
It is within easy distance of Pwhelli and Porthmadog, also not too far from places like Beddgelert.

there was one or two past Aberdaron, right on the tip, you get a view of Bardsey Island, the campsite is quiet and friendly, 6 quid a night and about a mile walk into Aberdaron for beach and a couple of pubs. Fantastic. One of my favourite places in the country.

Thanks for your suggestions everyone. However, in the end we went over to the enemy and booked a self-catering cottage in Anglesey (last-minute bargain) !
A lovely part of Wales, but camp sites seemed to be few and far between. We found one near Beaumaris called Kingsbridge which looked good. Anyone know of any others for future reference?
Thanks again for the Lleyn info.
