Hi

Welcome to the forum from a fellow "Ully" (well Hessle).

Do you have children? If so try Ripley (between Harrogate & Ripon) HERE

Nice clean site with excellent facilities, large tent field, with and without EHU. Great safe childrens area, small swimming pool.

Ideal for York and Harrogate if the weather is a bit poor, or the North Yorkshire countryside, if its good.

Cheers

Paul

Serenity Caravan & Camping Park, Hinderwell - 01947 841122 - http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/reviews.asp?revid=3719. 8 miles north of Whitby, lovely site with nice views over countryside, owners extremely friendly and helpful, pub right across the road does very good meals at reasonable prices. We went in May and loved it

Hi Yorksbabe. willl you be taking kids ? The reason is, if you are then I guess you will have different needs from a site.

For kids, try Riverside Meadows site in Ripon.  If just the two of you, then give Willow Farm in York a try.

Can i just say we went here last year we hated. Its not very clean and VERY noisy esp on a night due to the pub being open till around 2am the kids just ran riot till their parent vacated the pub. Anyway just my opinion but we will certainly NOT be returning.
