My first post, but have been lurking for a while. I am going to Riverside village park in wallasea Island, Rochford, Southend this weekend. Have read the reviews on here but they dont give any specifics on curfew etc. My partner and I like to sit up late having a drink and a chat and I wanted to know whether we can do this or whether we need to go out and do it!
Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
Hi Corrinne and welcome to ukcs! I have never stayed there but when we go away, after the kids are asleep, the hubby and i always sit out having a glass of wine and star gazing, sometimes very late on! As long as your very quiet im sure it wont be a problem! Have a good time!!

Hi, thankyou! That's put my mind at rest! i dont want to offend anyone so obviously we will be as quiet as possible. Only my 2nd camping trip and only after doing some research on here did I find out about some sites having strict curfews!
Just had a look and cant find a web site link so cant check if it has strict curfews! Just remember to whisper as voices carry, especially when its late on!! you dont want your neighbours knowing your business lol.I have never given it a second thought myself ,as i know i would hate to be disturbed so would never disturb anyone else! And if i read that i had to be in bed by ten oclock, that would not be a site for me lol.

Lol, yes we will whisper, and no we wont be in bed by 10 either. Will see what the situation is when we get there, If there is a strict early curfew, we can go out!
Hi corrinne - I live very close by, sorry dont know the site, but if you are interested its the Leigh On Sea regatta this weekend....normally a good few hours out, and not too far from where you'll be
