My husband loves sea fishing so we're looking for a site to visit with our little motorhome that's near a beach or harbour, the closer the site is to the sea the better because my husband struggles with walking too far.
We're not too bothered where in the country it is as we've got a week off so we're willing to travel anywhere for the right site. Does anyone have any ideas for a good sea fishing site
All suggestions greatly appreciated

Pentewan Sands has it's own beach.....walking distance from your pitch...which I sadly haven't been able to get booked up on for the past TWO years!!!!
Do miss that being able to fall out of me pit in the early morning and hobbling along to the rocks at the Pentewan Village end for some peaceful fishing while hubby's still a kip. It's the only time I get to fish on me own!
Then......he'd wander down to tell me there was cuppa made when he'd finally get up!Ahhhh bliss
Ya can find details and it's website via this......I hope:
Warning though, they book up VERY fast and only start taking bookings for the following year from 1st November and it's a huge and very busy site with lots of youngsters and a clubhouse so not up your street if you're after peace and quiet I'm afraid.
We've still always enjoyed ourselves there though and NEVER even been in the clubhouse coz we're a couple of boring old farts
Aberavon, Caernarfon, beachside site, you can drive straight onto the beach
Blackrock sands, camp next to the beach
I fish around Anglesey and North Wales and camp when i'm there, can't do more than 100yds without getting wheezy so i know where your coming from, tell your husband to come and join us here and we'll put you on to all the easy access marks you need

We use Holmans Wood in Chudleigh, South Devon. From here you can get to Torquay, Teignmouth, Brixham, Paignton etc etc all great sea fishing places. I have fished Torquay and Brixham so far, lovely mackerel for tea.
I have just found a gem of a site at Cockerham.Basically costs ten pounds a night ,has electric hookup and use of a toilet and can use the site facilities next door which is called Cockerham Sands and not too far from junc 33 of M6.My brother found me the site and spoke to the guy who owns the bungalow and land which can accomodate approx 12 units .I love sea fishing too and you can just step out of your unit over the small road across onto beach / walkway .Take a look on google earth and look for cockerham sands ,you will see the campsite with the pool and the small site were i hope to be going is just to the left .He got me a leaflet with telephone number on etc but forgot to bring it round to my home .Hoping depending on weather to visit next weekend all being well .
Drewery Caravan park at California, Great Yarmouth - the camping field is through the caravan site, on a clifftop with direct access down a path from one end of the site
Camp on Anglesey & fish Holyhead breakwater straight out of the van, you can drive right to the end. Y Fronydd is a great little site & only 15 minutes away plus there are plenty of beaches & some easy rock venues.
Aberafon is a great site
However
we were there last year and were pretty much pitched in same place as poster with pic
The problem is the continual back and forth of people launching speed boats and revving up engines whilst we were sitting relaxing
This can be a very noisy site because of this
We wont go back there but if you are into boats its def the place to be !
Weve just come back from Shell island and we did some fishing there only caught a few tiddlers lol but good fun trying
