Needle in a haystack comes to mind!
Equity buyers/big money started to move, now pushed prices up for everyone else.
On saying that take a look at www.countrywidepropertyauctions.co.uk
Look at the Wales link on the right, auctions on 28th.
property is lot 232.
Unbelievably cheap, two cottages and barns to convert, with a touring park (doesn't say what size) but , and there's always one, the site doesnt have the right planning permission. Not a problem if you are comfortable with putting an application in, and the local plan seems to support it, but still not as straightforward as some would hope for!
The reality is that the market for all types of park has boomed, leaving most of the people who are best able to run a park (camping enthusiasts!) out of the running, so its deals like this that have to be looked at - but then thats no different to the rest of the UK property market.
(If you want to know why we aren't buying it - since selling Deer Park we have settled in Somerset - sites need the owners there 24hrs a day, and I'm not commuting to Wales!)
There are a couple of agencies worth speaking to:
www.edwardsandpartners.co.uk
www.foxleisure.co.uk
and also Paul & Co (dont have a link)
Certainly prices in Ireland and Scotland look much more appetising than the UK!

Pete
