Midday does seem the norm. But what I find gave me the hump this year, turning up at a site at 2pm, the board outside reception saying all off at noon.(mid Aug) so the pitch had two hours to be prepaired, meeting my brother in law there we both arrived at the same time. having been shown to our pitch in the pouring of rain. Only to find three piles of dog do do, a pair of boxers and a t shirt. The others had the same problem with do do, ( im being poilte) What did they do in them two hours. Not check the pitch I bet. The art is not to let it spoil your holiday.
