Hi All

I would really like your reccommendations for a campsite in Wiltshire.  I really want to go to Longleat Safari Park and of coarse I would like to visit Stonehendge.

The problem is I am a snobby camper.  We recently stayed at Carnon Downs in Cornwall and what a fantisitc site it is.  The best part were the showers. The shower, sink and toilet were in the one lockable cubicle with heating, which I could share with my husband.  Now I know there are very good campsites out there and I am prepared to pay top dollar with electic hook up I would apprieate your help.

We are looking at going in about April/May 2008.

This could suit your purposes..It's near Warminsster which is handy for Longleat and Stonehenge.

Just to add its just me and my husband no dog or children.

A quite site preferred

Try Coombe Touring Park, its near the racecourse, with wonderful views.  No website I'm afraid but reviews on here.  I recommended it to a friend who has been caravanning for 25 years who went recently and said it was the best site she had ever been to.  A lot of French and Dutch people go there.

If you do decide on the CC site at Longleat, book early as it gets really booked up.
