Hi all,

We've booked to go to sandy balls for half term in a couple of weeks. Just wondering if any of you have been at October half term before. Do they have Kids activities as I understand they do in the summer? This is our first time on a large commercial site so not sure what to expect. Counting the days though (8!!)

Cheers

Jacqui

We used to go during the school holidays and they always geared up for the kids.

You've probably gathered from the brochure that it's a great place with loads to do and when you get fed up with it, you've got the whole of the New Forest right on your doorstep then when you get fed up with THAT, you've got Bournemouth and Poole to the south and west and Southampton, Portsmouth and Winchester to the east not to mention Beaulieu as well.

I guarantee you'll run out of time before you run out of places to see.

And Salisbury to the North!

Make sure you do go out and see the forest though, I'm sure you will!

Have a lovely time!

We went there last October half term, and yes there are craft type activities set up(for a small charge)that take an hour or so . I'm sure there was entertainment too (we went Fri to Mon) in the wood side suite(?). The only thing  my kids were disappointed with was there was limited time in the pool, and we couldn't allways get in straight away because it was so full.....but then thats the first time we'd ever been there in a school holiday, it's never been a problem for us before. I'm sure you'll have a great time!

Dead right although there's not a great deal for kids to see in Salisbury unless they're turned on by cathedrals!

Cheers!

thanks all for your suggestions. we had expected to have limited pool time as it is half term. There is only 1 day that we plan to spend all day on site as I will be without car (OH has to drive 3 hrs back to work for a meeting and then come back. !!!!!!). Roll on Saturday.
