Hi there

After being bitten by the caravaning bug after our first trip away, I was wondering if anyone knew of any sites that had vacancies for New Year we live in Wensleydale North Yorkshire so anywhere within a 2-3 hour drive would be okay

Why not try ringing round the sites,you may have better luck doing it that way.

Hi all,

At The Plassey we have just 4 pitches left for 29th - 31st December (3 nights).

The cost to stay on a Deluxe All Weather pitch (3 night min.) is £79.50 which includes electric, showers and up to 4 people. 
 
I am sorry but the New Years Eve party at Treetops Bar is already sold out......but the Treetops Bar is having free live entertainment on the 30th December which is still spaces for. If you are interested please call us on 01978 780 277.

Mrs Shorty,

Why do you want to leave the 'beautiful ' Wensleydale' at all !!!!!!!!!!. This is our favourite place - we stay at Brown Moor CC Site in Hawes. We have even thought seriously about moving there in a few years time. Don't worry about getting away - if you don't get away this side of Xmas, there is all next year to plan for - enjoy!!!

Hi Jan (jackrascals)

You are right Wensleydale is beautiful (Leyburn To be precise) but you never appreciate what is in your own backyard. My kind of holiday would be Southport where i have shops, cinema, and the seaside.......I adore the seaside and am busy planning as many trips as i can for next year.
