Hi all , we're thinking of going away for Christmas next year , but we want to go where the snow will be , traveling from Bristol what's the closest place where we have a very good chance of snow .

 The last few yrs has been poor for snow at xmas, however derbyshire

is a pretty good bet!![:)]

Hi, I would also say derbyshire and LICKPENNY would be an ideal site, Hardstanding, Large pitches and if you book a super pitch the view is stunning over the valley especially when it snows. We went there and woke up to find fresh snow outside it was magical...

We had snow when we were at Lickpenny but it was in March. Still nice.

The Alps!  Being serious, our winters are now far too mild here and our greatest chance of snow seems to be late January and February if recent years are anything to go by.  Good luck, wherever you choose I am sure you will have a lovely break.
