I am staying at this site for four days in the summer and understand that I need to get rock pegs as its hardstanding - as my tent is 6.5m x 7.5m cross shaped and the hardstanding area is 5mx5m will I need rock pegs on the areas that go onto the grass around the hardstanding?
Thanks
Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
It might be a good idea to take enough rock pegs to cover all pegging points as some times the grass may be laid over hardcore/pebbles, it will save the hassle of trying to hammer in wire pegs and then having to straighten them out.

I use rock pegs for everything, never have a problem anywhere !!
Same here Steve. I discarded plastic pegs years ago and haven't encountered a problem since.
I've found the best ones are the ones sold by CC Site receptions. They resemble 10" nails with a cross piece and sell for about 45p each. Well worth the outlay.
Thanks everyone, I did tell them the size of our tent and they said no problem so I hope thats going to be ok. Now I just need to try and remember how many pegs we use!!
we go here a lot and would reccommend rock pegs all round, they do sell and hire them on site.
