Anyone recommend a site in the North Wales area which has decent sized flat tent pitches,clean modern facilities, not too large a site but close to a pub and pleasant scenery, dont mind if its on coast or inland, any recommendations before I start my search on this site.

The Bala site isn't close to a pub - I think the nearest is in Bala, which is about 3 miles away.  It's a very nice site, though.

Beddgelert Forestry Commission/C&CC site is lovely - in the forest with loads of walking, cycle hire etc.  Walking distance of the village where there are several pubs and eating places.  The pitches are all over the place so varying levels and sizes, some surrounded by trees, some in the open.

hi we went to Tyddyn Du Touring  a couple of years ago now in may and we came home early we did not like the site the pitches are very close together not 20ft apart and the wind was frighting we had no sleep all night one lady stayed in the toilets all night not much around the site a concil estate one side nothing much thee other

one thing going for this site it had clean toilet faclities
