got a great friend who has moved to Brighton and we agreed to visit for New Year in our camper van but the nearest site - Sheepcote, the CC site, was sold out by the end of October so we didn't go.  She has a big birthday on 21 March which is Easter weekend so we promised....   No bookings were allowed for Sheepcote prior to 22 Dec and I was quite busy with something that week...  Tried to book last night and THEY ARE FULL ALL EASTER WEEKEND!  How can that be on a site with 170 pitches??

Anyway, we would be happy with a small site within a 3 mile radius of Brighton and I can't find anything other than Sheepcote on any site.  PLEASE can you help with any suggestions?

Sheepcote Valley is the only camping site site in/close to  Brighton and is subsequently busy all year. If you are in the Caravan Club have a look at some of the CLs. Anything in LEWES, NEWHAVEN or SEAFORD is fine as there is a good train service to Brighton which is 10 to 15 mins. There is also the Buckle caravan park at Seaford, right on the beach and next door to a railway station - have a look in the campsite search.

Thought of trying Northbrook CC site farm at Worthing.

Although a lot further than you would like it's about 20 mins on the A27 or a bit longer on the A259
