hi

gues who needs help again?

thinking about going to the lakes in march. fancy keswick area. can anyone recommend a nice site please.

just wife and me. not bothered about pubs or clubs on site as long as it's got nice clean showers.

we looked at burns farm, but reviews put us off.

Alternatively, the Camping & Caravan Club have a site within walking distance to Keswick

both sites had lovely clean facilities

Castleirgg Hall - about 20 mins walk outside Keswick.

One of the best sites we've ever stayed on, with terrific views.

Lovely site and you can walk into town from site.

i've had a few of those bowler.

the braithewaite site is a too far south we are looking for the keswick area, but thanks anyway.

the castleirg looks ideal.

Hi,

We stayed on the Camping and Caravan Club site at Keswick in October for the first time and can confirm that the shower/toilet block is very clean and the site is a minute walk to the shops of Keswick.

It's quite a large site but the pitches are well spaced out. Some of pitches were a bit waterlogged when we were there but I'm sure you'll have the pick of the best pitches in March time. The site is right on the edge of the lake, which is nice.

We had no complaints regarding the site, it felt very relaxed, was very clean and alot of trees etc around it.

Excellent easy access to all of Keswick's amenities.

i would like to be up in the lakes when there is snow on the hills.

Hi Corni,

It was the Keswick one we stayed at. The other one is called Derwentwater. They are right next door to one another, you can see each through the fence.

Sorry, don't know about snow on the hills in March time. I don't know the area I'm afraid.
