Good evening everyone

We're over xmas now & are planning all our trips for the year. We fancy walking up Snowdon at the end of May & are looking for a good quality family friendly site in the area that takes dogs & 9 year old boys.

Snowdon View looks OK but the reviews are all over 3 yrs old.

Can anyone help us please.

Thanks

Mark & Tracey

PS Happy new year to all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are staying at the Snowdon Friscan Inn at Easter, which is at Cwm-y-Glo near Llanberis. Don't know much about it, it only has 1 EHU. You may be better staying on a site near Caernarfon which is not far away.

Runone & Fellrunner37, good to meet some kindred spirits. Hoping to get along to as many Brit & Eng counters as I can this season. In the meantime I'm intending to do The Long Mynd in Feb.

Do you use the Fellrunner Forum?

Hi Markglen

last year we camped at Dolgamedd Caravan Park which was only about an hours drive away. Great site, spotless facilities and you can have a real camp fire by the river, wow just like the old days!!!.

During the day the RAF use the valley for low flying, I loved it.

Regards

Nigel

sorry mark and tracy for taking over your thread somewhat, but it was not intended.it is not often that you bump into other fell runners who are around.

i think that long mynd challenge is about 56 miles?.
hope to get back on the fellrunner web site after my hols next week
