One where anytime between 9 in the morning and 7 at night you just kick off your flip flops, walk through a footbath and jump in. No having to get changed next to the pool, pay to use, get a whistle blown at by lifeguard, lock your stuff in a locker, get told when you have to get out etc. I know I'm talking outdoors in the UK and it's probably going to rain all summer again but I'd like to be optimistic!!

Know what you mean about French Pools, I cant seem to find any Southern UK site that comes close to having the fun on the slides, chutes etc I think we have been spoiled. Unfortunatley we can't go to France this year so we are looking for a Southern UK site with a good pool.
Come on someone you must know of at least one site.

Not been to France so cant compare, but there is a site we have visited in Mid Wales with an outside heated pool, not massive but big enough as its a quiet site, Pool is surrounded by lovely gardens, there is a small changing block nearby but nobody bothers to be honest just walk from tent to pool. it was too cold for the beach one day so we went to the pool, it was warm and we just kept our towels by the side for when we got out !
Site is Morfa Bychan outskirts of Aberystywth. The most amazing views of cardigan bay.
lots of reviews on here and they have a website link shows pool pictures

I think Cofton Country at Dawlish Warren would be close, the pool is outdoors but heated, you can just walk up from your caravan/tent take of your flipflops and jump in, no slides, but bar close by, fishing on site and good beaches in area.
Cofton is an excellent site for kids, very good outdoor pool, woodland trails etc.Bar with reasonable meals, very good takeaway that even does breakfasts! Two excellent toilet blocks and several more basic toilet blocks well spread out amongst the touring areas.
A very large site but due to its lovely location set in a valley surrounded by woodland it does not seem as big due to the various touring/camping fieldsbeing on different levels.
In my opinion one of the better commercial sites in South Devon.
