We use northam quite a lot, we use it for our non spending quick breaks where you entertain yourselves!!!, hubby fishes a lot and i love walking the dogs especiall to the beach, they love it, as there is no club house or any other ''spending entertainment'' on site(but all close by if you want it) its alovely and we do come home relaxed, definately not a beachy place for children,
We go to Warren Farm every year and have driven round Northam Farm for a nose. We initially planned to stay in Unity but we have a tent that is 6m x 3m and so they wanted a extra £5 fine for a extra large tent plus a charge for dogs and a already massive charge for a pitch with electric. It is very expensive. Both Warren and Northam dont have the pools like Unity but there is a leisure centre in Burnham-on-Sea (ten mins away) so you could save yourself a couple of hundred pounds just by staying elsewhere and taking the kids to the pool down the round and using the beach for sandcastle building but not for swimming. Warren is ridiculously cheap, we go early June and its just £7 per night per pitch.
Burnham swimming pool is currently under threat of closure, they have deferred for 2 months while trying to arrange private funding, as heard on news this morning. So pool might not even be open in 2 months time
------------- I,d live life in the fast lane but, i,m married to a speed bump.
