Yes we did go but were not too happy with it.
We had booked well ahead for the CL, but he said when I booked that we might have to move to an "overspill" field for the last night only as he was already fully booked for it, but if anyone cancelled then we would be ok.
When we arrived, first we had a job getting in due to other cars parked, then could not get any answer at the house. Walked up to the site and could see that there were already 5 vans on the site, so got out handbook to look for an alternative site.
Owner appeared at that point and hummed and hawed, appeared to have selective recall concerning our booking and eventually said we could go on his "other" site. This was quite a nice big grassed area up the back, but the lane to it was narrow, muddy, bumpy and twisty, with lots of bushes and overhanging trees.( we have a big van)
As it was by now raining heavily we agreed to take the pitch, but the place was very wet, and just got wetter! He gave us a wooden pallet to put at the door!
When we came to leave we were driving through standing water , only just made it out.
Cant remember what we paid, could have been £9, certainly not more than £10. We were there late May.
The actual CL bit seemed quite small, but was hardstanding, which would have obviously been better in that weather.
