Hello!

Whilst we were staying at a campsite in Redhill we met a couple who recommended that we visit a particalur campsite that was attached to a country park.  It was part of the campsite booking that you automatically got free admission and were issued a key - hubby thinks it might have begun with a 'W'

Can someone remind me of the name? Not necessarity a Caravan Club Site?

I may be totally wrong here and I am sure somebody will correct me if I am but I am sure there was a thread on here about a brand new van that was stolen from there due to the security barriers not working etc.  Can anybody shed any light on it?  It was a thread by a new or newish member whose family was living on the site I think temporarily?  Would have been autumn last year.

To be honest though, I think we'll give it a miss on principal, we haven't got a brand new caravan but it all sounds too dodgy to me. Feel very sorry for the family that lost theirs.

There are plenty more lovely sites to visit without going there.

This is an adventure forest park with a Go Ape centre where you do all the climbing and rope walks amongst the trees.  If you use the campsite search you will see there are lots of campsites nearby.  We have been here several times and OH's children love it.
