hi,

we have the chance to get away from the kids for a weekend and are torn between a hotel or camping and a new tent.

Can anyone recommend a nice site in the south for adults?? No real requirements but a pub would be nice

Binghams farm is adults only and has a little restaurant / bar on site, great site not far from Bridport , Dorset. You'd have to check if they're open though.

Well if you want a hotel, I can recommend The Albion Hotel at Freshwater Bay on the Isle of Wight. They do a three night package with DB&B for about £140.00 including the Red Funnel ferry from Southampton. "Er indoors" and me went there last November for our wedding anniversary and it was REALLY nice. Great value for money.

Binghams Farm near Bridport is a good adults only site - I think it's probably got all you need for a short break.

I second OLD OAKS in Glastonbury.  Its a fantastic adult only site.

Pitch in the old apple orchard, its never overcrowded (even on bank holidays) they have spotless showers/loos.  Lovely little shop selling freshly baked bread and local cider and some nice walks from the site.

Its set in peaceful countryside, the only noise is the birds.

Our favourite site.
