Has anyone stayed here??  The Lillies Caravan Site , Bognor Regis Campsite

Looks a nice site ideally situated but unfortunateley there are no facilities to leave a review which worries me.

Any info on site and are would be appreciated. Thanks.

Bill, I don't know what you're looking for, but the Caravan Club site (Rowan Park) is only about a minute's drive away from this one.

We are looking for a reasonable size family site on the south coast between Bournmouth and Brighton. Main requirements are something close by for 2 teenage girls and within walking distance to a train station thats why this one looked good. The CC site is further from the station and they do warn of road noise.

Any other suggestions would be welcomed.

Bill, yes there probably would be some road noise at Rowan Park - and also at The Lilles I would say, as it's also on the A29.  Neither is very convenient for Bognor station, but it is walkable in around 20 mins at a guess but along a busy dual carriageway and with a difficult junction to cross.  

I'm afraid I can't think of anything else that fits all your requirements at the moment - sadly, the "within walking distance to the train" rules out the other sites I can think of near me.

I must admit its a struggle. Have found a few sites near stations but they then seem to be very rural with not a lot around.

Wanted a train station nearby ,as the name suggests, i drive for a living and like a few days by train to have a break. Suppose we may have to think of near a station that has taxi access  Lilles is very close to Barnham which is why it was ideally situated.

Other main requirements as i say are something local for a couple of teen and good priced horse riding facilities.

Never mind, on with the search lol.

You're absolutely right about The Lillies being near Barnham - forget everything I said before, my brain wasn't engaged!   I was thinking of a different site entirely, The Poplars, which is on the A29 but I think is all statics anyway.  (The Lillies also put in for planning permissions last year to go that way, but I don't know the outcome.)
