CAN ANYONE RECOMEND A SITE OFF THE A1 AROUND SCOTCH CORNER AREA. MEETING A FRIEND COMING DOWN FROM GLASGOW. SOMEWHERE SHELTERED AND LEVEL WITH EHU WOULD BE GREAT AS WE WILL BE IN A TENT AND ARE GOING THE WEEKEND OF THE 7TH OF MARCH. NOT REALLY FUSSY ABOUT LOTS OF FACILITIES AS LONG AS IT HAS LOO'S AND SHOWERS. ALSO DOES ANYONE KNOW A GOOD SITE FOR LONG TERM WEATHER FORECAST. LOOKING FORWARD TO HEARING FROM ANYONE THAT CAN HELP !!!

    i can recommend Brown Moor (caravan club site),burnt acres rd hawes N yorks DL8 3ps stayed there in 2006 (dont know how far between where you want to be ) but maybe worth a try.folk were friendly campsite well looked after

Why not use this campsite search, simpy stick the pin in the area and then choose sites either, 5, 10 or 20 miles radius
