Wondered if anybody could help with a good campsite in south wales want something close to beach and village with a pub and shops. Needs to be kid friendly i have 19month old twins so don't want a rowdy site !!!

Have a look at Howelston in Pembrokeshire. Sea views, pub in village and shop in Broad Haven which is the next village along and you can walk along the beach to it. Haven't stayed on the site but it gets good reviews and always looks nice when we've been past.

I second Carregllwyd, Three Cliffs at the Gower also, but you have to walk further to the beach and not sure how you would cope with twins! But a nice friendly site.
There is a lovely site close to Lydstep Village and 5 minutes from Tenby by car. It is called Whitewell Caravan Park. It is a 10 minutes walk down to Lydstep Beach. It has 3 big fields for camping and it is not commercialised. There is a club and plenty of hot water. Highly recommended

There are hundreds of sites that fulfil your criteria, could you narrow it down a bit? Do you want somewhere in the sticks, or close to a supermarket etc?
As a welsh bird I would recommend the Gower if you are looking for beautiful beaches and scenery. We live under an hour away from there but it is our favourite place to holiday and wins over the likes of Cornwall and Devon hands down.

I love camping more than I love Take That!
