6m rule! You never get packed in like sardines & overwhelm the facilities with C&CC. Having spent a weekend on (an otherwise very nice site) with 100 units, 2 toilets and one shower, you learn to appreciate the limitations of club sites
Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
Been a member of CC for 1 year now, used their sites a few times so gained on the lower nightly fee. As we're under 30 we were having problems getting insurance for the van, no problems with the CC and a great level of cover for a decent price. WIll definetely be paying the £35 this year.....well worth it!!
We've not used any of their sites for about five years now but the reduction on RAC Arrival breakdown more than makes up for it, also the magazine is quite good some times.
They do temporary holiday sites which are very good (used them upto last year) and their small CL sites too.
It is worth it.
------------- No, really?!

The main reason that we joined was the rac, being a member knocks 20% straight off your rac bill, in my case that means we get cc&c for around £12, well worth it for that on it's own.
They also run a lot of holiday sites aroud the country, a lot of the time they are as little as a fiver a night, limeted facilities granted but how much time do you spend on a site when your on hols.
Admittedly there are a lot of our members who only attend ukcampsite meets for their hols and for them I don't think it's worth it.
I for one won't be renewing my ccc membership this year.I wanted to go on a Easter meet with one of their DA.When I ran to ask if there was EHU,they said no as it was a meet.I then rang the cl site where the meet is being held and have got a pitch with EHU.I rang the DA back and asked if we could still join the meet and they said no because the fees covered the activities.I offered to pay the nightly fees(£5,50) but they still would'nt let use join in the meet.I need the the EHU for medical reasons so I explained this and they still said no.We will have to watch all the thiongs they will be doing and Lily won't be able to join in even though we are members and I offered to pay the fees. How can they call themselves the "Friendly "club?
I have joined the cc who seem much more "friendly"!
