hi

Can anyone help we want to stay on a caravan park that is in a forest setting with a few amenities shop etc.. that is only about 1-2 hours away from warwickshire

it's mainly for the kids so they have got lots to do on the site !

Try the Camping and Caravanning Club website as they are now teamed up with the Forestry Commission and they have some lovely-looking forest sites.  We haven't tried one yet but we are looking to go to one in Malborough (Wilts) soon.

Try The Covert in Norfolk (a Caravan Club site) the only downside being that the shops are a couple of miles away.   Beautiful walks though and a war museum.

 we went here for a UKCS at Feb half term, although no shop on site only a 10 mins drive to asda and tesco, our kids loved it, 2 playarea's, lake and walks in the forest, that is next to the caravan park. 

 The toilets/showers were nice and clean and warm, choice of grass or hardstanding pitches

Christchurch in the Forest of Dean is a Forest Holidays site (now also C&CC). We stayed there last Easter and had a really nice time, the site is quite slopy so you will need chocks. There are lots of nice walks in the forest. There is a small shop on site.

Bracelands and Woodlands are also adjoining this site and would be worth considering too. If you are members of C&CC or have a Forest connections card you get a discount.
