OK - this may be an impossible search...

We have teenagers in tow this year - two girls aged 11 and 14 (ours) our 16 year old son and his two friends (eek!) and a dog, oh, and us ....

So we thought...or I did to be precise as my husband thinks it would be easier to s tay at home!! ... A site in Cornwall, not TOO commercialised and expensive, with public transport available to get the teens into somewhere without us driving them around... ... Newquay, Rock,  but that is dog friendly... and... lovely to boot!   North Devon would be OK too...

Impossible..... bet one of you clever lot know just the place...

The bus stops outside the municipal site in Edinburgh and goes into the city lol.

That would be FANTASTIC but they are fully booked   we said last year that we should book a week this year but never got round to it - DUR!  I still haven't adjusted to thinking a year ahead for camping... four months is bad enough!  

We are hoping to go to Scotland too this summer so thanks for the hint re Edinburgh!!!

Sunny and beautiful!  Had some rain last night but the sky is blue - just been down to Shaldon with the dog and it was all lovely and twinkly -  are you at Holmans wood?

Farmers markets start next weekend - worth a visit usually!  And lambing at Bicton...

There is a bus that runs into Newquay centre from Treloy, it stops right outside of the gate and runs quite frequently until about 2am.

Thank you all - love the look of Polmanter - wanted to get there last year but booked up, the problem now is that the beaches in St Ives are not dog-friendly during hte summer... the joys of staffy ownership!

You could try ringing Polmanter and asking if there was a local kennels that will take day boarders, so you could take the dog on holiday but choose not to have him with you on beach days?

The beach at Mawgan Porth is dog friendly and good for surfing, we went there two years running for that reason. We stayed at Sun Haven Valley (or is it Sun Valley Haven?) which is walking distance to the beach and bus stop, but not right on the beach like Magic Cove. MT
