No I haven't but got rid of your blue face. It does sound nice and not expensive for the area. Why not give it a try for a couple of nights, you could always combine with somewhere else, then let the rest of us know.

Looks great! I wonder if its a new site? I'd be really interested to read any feedback from you if you do spend a few days there.

Their pdf brochure doesn't mention toilets or showers, which I thought was odd, but their UKCS 'full details' page says they do. Phew! MT

Oh great - thank you for reviewing it! I posted a v similar message asking for a review as we are interested too.

However, when we wanted to go - first Monday & Tues in July - it randomly jumps up as it is some kind of aircraft festival nearby?!!

I'm really disappointed, I was hoping to visit this site soon but after reading the latest review I've changed my mind. All the reviews so far for this fairly new site have been glowing, even the latest reviewer will be returning. But listening to noisy folk, who've had a few drinks, until 3.00am is not my idea of a relaxing break,

I was there this weekend, and it was very nearly full. I thought it was really nice and mellow, with people having a good but not rowdy time. All was quiet by 11pm. Just depends who's booked in I suppose.

The thing that bothered us more (one of the only downsides to the place) was the distant sound of a major road in the background, which bothered my OH a bit at sleep time (I wear earplugs so didn't care).

I'll be putting up a more detailed review soon. Hope that helps.

I don't think there is a permanent warden living on site, so any excessive noise could go unchecked. I'm sure it wouldn't happen often as  adults only sites are usually very peaceful.

I'm glad you've mentioned the road noise, I thought the distant main road could be a  slight problem for us. We live down a long farm track so aren't used to it. 

It looks such a lovely site  though, and it would be great to able to walk into Bourton-on-the-Water, I think we'll probably go for a couple of nights and try it.

I know what you mean about Bourton-on-the-Water Sue, what a lovely place! Gorgeous waterside pubs, really relaxing, even on a busy summer saturday evening.

I don't think you're too fussy, there's nothing wrong with wanting to enjoy your holiday time :). We had a bad experience at an adult only campsite last summer - big group of students who were technically classed as adults but really didn't act like it, and were abusive when told to keep it down. It's a shame because I'm a postgraduate student and it gives us a bad name!
