If you join one of the clubs, you might just have time to get onto an Easter rally. I did my first rally last year after deciding at the last minute I wanted to get away on a bank holiday. Called my local centre and was given the rally officers mobile number (she was already on the site) I was made very welcome and have not been anywhere other than a rally since.

Packhorse Farm near Matlock Bath (Tansley) on the reviews, quiet site, new facilities should be open now (worth checking) and some pitches have electric.
Good luck to you ,but you know the club directories that give the cl's locations are invaluable. We were stuck on the A34 during the floods and we got the book out and found a site for the night just around the corner from where we were. Worth joining just fir the "rescue".

mufc7 - Dont let the weather put you off - if you are holidaying in the UK you have to take what you get weather wise. We have our main holiday in October but take what ever comes, and the forecasters arent always right anyway. So go on i am sure you will still enjoy yourselves.

Have you tried Dolbryn in Wales? We were there last year and they had a few spaces, not sure if they are ok for tents but might be worth a try
We'll be there come Friday! We've stayed in a tent there before now and never had any problems with it being waterlogged.

We were going to fisherground in the lakes and had to cancel.(only last night)
We had booked 2 pitches with elec.
Was really looking forward to going but due to family problems will have to give it a miss. They allow camp fires and it sounds a really freindly site.
Hope this helps.

Well guys I am actually quite glad to say that we have decided to stay at home, it has not stopped pouring down here all day, and the wind is getting worse by the hour. To anybody who is going camping within the next day or 2 have a great weekend and hope the weather does not get any worse.
