Have just booked to go here in August. Have read the reviews which seem to improve since the new toilet block was opened last year. Is it very noisy though? Can't be doing with rowdy nights! Have managed to get a EHU pitch which is sheltered from the wind by a hedge and across the field from the play area, so hopefully far enough away for a bit of piece.

I'd think that would be the least of your worries, first problem will be getting over the emense hurdle of their generous out pouring of the friendly hospitality...or lack of.

Make sure you take plenty of cash as when you pitch up they have in the past for me (and a number of other people) demanded a "behaviour bond".  Mother Father Son and Girlfriend not class as Family group so charged £20 per head... I dont carry that sort of cash with me I was asked to leave without refund incl booking...there is also no mention of the bond on the booking form...or at least when we last went there two/three years ago.

Even though I had paid up front by booking (of which they dont/didnt keep a record of - take bank statements and photocopy any booking forms), otherwise they try to make you pay again, especially when it gets busy.

A real shame really as both West Fleet Farm and East Fleet are great sites with excellent views, ok in need of a bit of modernising which is obviously in hand but the hospitality leaves alot to be desired....reflected in some of the reviews on this site.

As a family we have been visiting in various forms the sites for 30years and has been ok unfortunatly the behaviour bonds and the "gracious generosity for the privalidged to pay to stay on their site" was one step too far.

Question anything...you get to see "THE MANAGEMENT".  I asked a question and got threatened with being chucked off the site.

I really hope you dont have any of the problems we experienced, as I said they are nice sites, its just beyond me why the owners decided that they ought to work with the public!

We used to go quite often a few years back and the toilet blocks were awful then but we didn't find the site any noisier than most sites with a club house .
We used to find that once the club house had closed it took about an hour for the place to quieten down.
To be honest we had more of a problem through the day with footballs bouncing off the car every 5 minutes , even though there was a great big field for the youngsters to have a kick about on.

I can't say we had a problem with the staff being rude or unfriendly but my son and his wife did.
They're a young married couple (22 +23 yr olds) and were quite offended that they had to pay the behaviour bond.
Basically they were told that if they didn't like it they could sling their hook so they paid it. My son and his wife are both professional people and felt like Chavs being made to pay a bond

A real shame really as both West Fleet Farm and East Fleet

Having read that again, what I meant to say was West Fleet and Sea Barn Farm.

East Fleet have no connection (AFAIK) to Westfleet.

Anywhere asking (demanding?) a behaviour gets a no vote in my brochure.

You are right at the front of the park, pool, toilets club and shop I wouldn`t pitch there and the club has a big open door so you can heard everything also all the kid hang about there

SeaBarn is a bit more quite and you can stil use the pool and everything at Westfleet
