I'd think that would be the least of your worries, first problem will be getting over the emense hurdle of their generous out pouring of the friendly hospitality...or lack of.
Make sure you take plenty of cash as when you pitch up they have in the past for me (and a number of other people) demanded a "behaviour bond". Mother Father Son and Girlfriend not class as Family group so charged £20 per head... I dont carry that sort of cash with me I was asked to leave without refund incl booking...there is also no mention of the bond on the booking form...or at least when we last went there two/three years ago.
Even though I had paid up front by booking (of which they dont/didnt keep a record of - take bank statements and photocopy any booking forms), otherwise they try to make you pay again, especially when it gets busy.
A real shame really as both West Fleet Farm and East Fleet are great sites with excellent views, ok in need of a bit of modernising which is obviously in hand but the hospitality leaves alot to be desired....reflected in some of the reviews on this site.
As a family we have been visiting in various forms the sites for 30years and has been ok unfortunatly the behaviour bonds and the "gracious generosity for the privalidged to pay to stay on their site" was one step too far.
Question anything...you get to see "THE MANAGEMENT". I asked a question and got threatened with being chucked off the site.
I really hope you dont have any of the problems we experienced, as I said they are nice sites, its just beyond me why the owners decided that they ought to work with the public!
