After reading all these reviews I now realise why the Hotrod forum I am a member of is hinting that most of us are less than happy about Billing. Even in 2006 when I started going there (for the aannual Billing "fun" run) it was OK but it has not improved. Granted the rain didn't help things in 2008 (though I was lucky to find a 'dry' spot - I'll post a couple of pics when I get home) but there has been a gradual decline in security and increase in yobbery each year. The rodding association that organises the fun-run each year is split in opinions as to whether it would be better at another venue; we will have to see. This year I didn't camp - just took the wife in our Roadster Model 'A' replica on the Sat for the cruise. The place is big, and so probably difficult to police but I wont be camping there again - next year it will be Sat only for the cruise again unless Premier Inns start doing B & B for OAPs for a fiver!!!
We sold a Mardon some years ago to a chap who was going to base it at Billing therefore he wasn't bothered about the tiny bit of damp at the front in one of the lockers but I wouldn't want a 'van based there thanks.
