Hello

We are new to camping we have all our stuff ready to go nice big tent we have two young under 2 children and two dogs we living in essex and want to go somewhere close just in case we get into problems and at a distance so it feels like we are on hoilday.  Any suggests as to a good first site?

Any tips ? or good pointers? this will also be the first time we put the tent up ?

Hi  Hartes and welcome to UKCS

If your tent is new then I suggest you go to the £1 shop and buy a pack of electrical tape the one that's got lots of different colours in it. Then when you put up the tent . colour code the ends that fit together. Makes it sooo much easier for next time

Don't lose your rag LOL, once you have put your tent up for the first time stand back and admire.

Don't get paranoid about people watching you, if you appear to be struggling i'm sure someone will offer to lend a hand. If you let people know you are new on here and what make your tent is then someone will let you know the best tips for putting your tent up.

Once up you will have a great time.
