I will second the above, and I know at least another 3 families that will 3rd 4th and 5th it, we have been going here since our twins were 3 and they are 10 now. It is a little more expensive than some sites but it is right on the beach and if you walk to it through the caravan park and not along the road you come to the beach near a river which the little ones can play happily and safely in without having to go too near the sea. Our oldies (OH) all love the sea, body boarding surfing etc, some of them run up Baggy point around to Woolacombe and back!! It has a club, a pool complex which your 3 year old will love, a shop, a cafe , a well priced restaurant and a great park area near to the caravan site. You can walk into Croyde a quaint village, It is not too far from Illfracombe, Woolacombe and a lovely little beach called Putsborough.
We are off there in May for 10 days... can't wait!!

Just priced up to see how much it would cost us to go there for the same time we're off to Magic Cove and it works out at £43.49 a night!!!!!!!!!!!!! more than double and we're nowhere near the beach, I can't get over how dear some sites are
We go to Hendra every year, its a fantastic site, with plenty of ammenities
and great entertainment, we will be there again this july.
Bob.

I'm glad you like it, not for us even if the price was right as we're not into sites with on-site entertainment

Why go to the trouble of pricing it up?

you don't have to pay extra for the entertainment, But the nice thing when you go on holiday is meeting new people and joining in with whatever is on. Unless you have your own entertainment in the evenings
