I agree with Gibraltar Farm - we went the first weekend in October last year and someone was having a 40th birthday bash in the woods, they had a couple of marquees and lots of little tents scattered in amongst the trees. Even though the music went on till well after 1am we could hardly hear it and it certainly didn't disturb any other campers. It's a lovely site in a great location - has a rocky cove and its own little beach at the end of the woodland, and only a short walk from the pubs in the village. I think it would be perfect for what you want.
