hi we are thinking of going to this site next sunday not been before which field is best to go in the meadow or the old orchard which as best views and as anyone fished on the canal

We have visited Tudor about 3 times and have been both in the smaller part near the toilets and also on the large field.  I didn't know they have names sorry.

I wouldn't say that either have views as such but the site is very pleasant and you are only a couple of minutes walk to the canal.  The good thing for us is the ability to walk to the WWT just down the road.

We haven't eaten in the pub but the menu looks ok and always seems popular.

Sorry can't help you on the fishing either but the walks along the canal are nice or even just to sit and watch people in boats.

 We use this site regulary as it is close to WWT

 the old orchard is the small area close to the toilet block,we prefer the meadow as it seems a little cramped in the orchard.The site does'nt have any views due to a large hedge bordering the canal,but as Jana said it is very pleasant

 The pub is fantastic,great beer & food
