Hi all

Has anyone been to a good campsite in or around the Tenby area. Must be a family caravan site preferably with a indoor pool and ona beach and above all clean.

Looked and looked, but so many to choose from.

Thakyou

josel

I stay at Trevayne campsite which accepts tents and caravans. The caravan pitches have a great view over monkstone point. It has no indoor pool but has clean facilities and its own beach if you dont mind steep steps. I am going back there at the end of May and my 9 year old son cant wait. There is a indoor pool in Tenby which is not far and the quietness of this family run site makes up for having no on site facilitities.

Hope this helps

Regards

Nicola

hi sgeo Im sure you will love it there. I am going on saturday so i'm sure you will see me struggling to pitch my ontario and trying to make sure i still have my son and dog with me( we really do need eyes in the backs of our heads nowadays.) I used to go to the site for my family holidays when i was young and decided to take my 9 year old son there to show him where i used to camp. That was 3 years ago and we have gone back for a week every year ever since. It is a lovely quiet site on a working farm with breathtaking views over to Amroth and Pendine and there is also so much to do around the area. I'm sure your 5 year old daughter will not be disappointed. There is a great private beach down some tricky steps so make sure you take decent shoes with you and the all important bucket and spade to go crabbibg in the rock pools (my sons favourite part)

Hope you enjoy your holiday might see you there.

Nicola

Just next to Trevayne is http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/results3.asp?search=rowston&by=county We have stayed here for the last 4 years and love it. No indoor pool but the site is well kept. We have only camped there before but we pick up a secondhand van on saturday so will be going there soon with our Tin Tent.
